About the event
Meet at the pool at 21:15, and we will walk to the bats, getting in the pool at 22:30.
Experts will be on hand to tell you about these fantastic animals, and then, shortly after sunset, you will be able to observe several hundred bats as they start their night forage. Then it's a short walk back to the pool for a magical night swim in our lovely warm pool with water heated to 26 degrees. The pool area will be gently lit by twinkling candle lights and fairy lights and each swimmer will wear a coloured glow stick - creating a magical and fun event.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL BE LEAVING FROM THE POOL AT 21:15 TO WATCH THE BAT EMERGENCE. THE NIGHT SWIM STARTS BACK AT THE POOL AT 22:30 AND FINISHES AT 23:30.
This is a fundraising special, and tickets cost £15 and are suitable for people aged 12 and over. Tickets are strictly limited to 35 and we expect this event to sell out quickly. No refunds are possible unless the event is cancelled due to weather warnings.
