By popular demand, we're running an extra night swim. Meet in Victoria Park Buckfastleigh at 19.30 and we will take a short walk through town to watch the emergence of hundreds of Buckfastleigh's incredibly rare population of Greater Horseshoe Bats.

Extra Night Swim Friday 1 September - Batfastleigh Special!
By popular demand, we're running an extra night swim on Friday 1 September.
Meet in Victoria Park Buckfastleigh at 19.30 and we will take a short walk through town to watch the emergence of hundreds of Buckfastleigh's incredibly rare population of Greater Horseshoe Bats.
Experts will be on hand to tell you about these fantastic animals, and then, shortly after sunset, you will be able to observe several hundred bats as the start their night forage. Then it's a short walk back to the pool for a magical night swim in our lovely warm pool with water heated to 27 degrees. The pool area will be gently lit by twinkling candle lights and fairy lights and each swimmer will wear a coloured glow stick - creating a magical and fun event.
